Is Cuisinart a good brand of coffee maker?

The reason I bought this brand is because of the name. We have had two coffee makers in the last 20 years (both Cuisinart), so I felt it would be a very reliable grinder. Waking up to grind the coffee in the morning and it sounded ‘off’, not as loud as usual. I cleaned it and emptied the coffee beans out of it and tried again.
