Tomato Sauce Cod Fish Recipe
Ingredients:
- Norwegian cod: 1 piece
- Tomato sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Salt: 1.5 grams
- White pepper powder: 1.5 grams
- White sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Starch: 7 tablespoons (divided)
- Egg: 1
- Sesame seeds: 1 tablespoon
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients.
- Thaw the cod fish.
- Cut the cod into strips.
- Marinate the cod with salt and white pepper powder to remove any fishy taste.
- Mix 6 tablespoons of starch with one beaten egg until smooth.
- Coat the cod evenly with the starch-egg mixture.
- Fry the cod in medium-hot oil until lightly golden, then refry for extra crispiness.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, sugar, soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of starch, and half a bowl of water until smooth.
- Heat a little oil in a pan, add the sauce, and cook until it bubbles.
- Add the fried cod to the sauce, stirring well to coat.
- Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds over the dish.
