Ginger Century Egg (Jiang Zhi Song Hua Dan)

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Century eggs: 6
  • Young ginger: 1 piece
  • Fresh soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar: 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar: a pinch
Instructions:
  1. Peel and clean the century eggs. Prepare the ginger.
  2. Cut the century eggs into pieces and arrange them on a plate.
  3. Finely chop the young ginger and set aside.
  4. Mix the dressing: combine 1 tablespoon of fresh soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, and a pinch of sugar. Stir in a few drops of sesame oil for added flavor.
  5. Evenly spread the sauce over the century eggs.
  6. Serve chilled, enjoying the savory and refreshing taste.
