Jade Codfish Porridge
Ingredients:
- Norwegian Arctic Cod: ½ piece
- Green Peas: 20g
- Rice: ½ cup
- Scallions, Ginger, and Cooking Wine: 10ml for marinating
- Lemon Juice: a few drops
- Salt: to taste
- Chicken Essence: a pinch
Instructions:
- Rinse the rice thoroughly and cook with ample water over high heat, then simmer on low heat.
- Clean the codfish, cut into small pieces, and marinate with scallion, ginger, cooking wine, and lemon juice to remove any fishy taste.
- Blanch the green peas and set aside.
- When the rice is soft, add the green peas and bring to a boil.
- Add the marinated codfish and a little salt, continue cooking until the fish turns white.
- Finally, season with a bit more salt and chicken essence, drizzle with a little cooking oil, and stir well before serving.
- Enjoy a healthy, nutritious, and tasty meal.
