Homemade Thick Soup Cubes

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 Corn cob
  • 4 Red dates
  • 2 Shiitake mushrooms
  • 1/2 Yam
  • 1/2 Carrot
  • 2 slices Ginger
  • 1 Pork rib
  • 2 Green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking wine
Instructions:
  1. Cut the red dates, yam, and carrot into pieces. Prepare corn, shiitake mushrooms, green onion knots, and pork ribs.
  2. Clean the pork ribs. Boil them in cold water with ginger slices and cooking wine. Skim off the foam, remove the ribs, and rinse with cool water. Drain and set aside.
  3. Remove corn kernels from the cob.
  4. Place the pork ribs in a pot.
  5. Add all ingredients to the pot with the ribs and cover with water.
  6. Cook using the "stew soup" mode for 2 hours.
  7. Debone the pork ribs and remove pits from the red dates.
  8. Remove all ingredients and blend them with a small amount of broth in a food processor until mushy.
  9. Pour the mixture into silicone molds and freeze for 5 hours.
  10. Once frozen, remove from molds. The silicone makes demolding easy.
  11. Store in airtight bags in the freezer for up to 15 days.
