Steamed Winter Melon with Atlantic Cod

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Norwegian Arctic Cod: 130g
  • Winter Melon (peeled and seeded): 200g
  • Light Soy Sauce with Low Salt: 10g
  • Minced Green Onion: A small amount
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the ingredients: Thaw the skinless and boneless cod fillet; peel and seed the winter melon.
  2. Cut the cod into chunks, about 2 cm each.
  3. Slice the winter melon into thin slices, about 5 mm thick. Pour the juice from the thawed cod over the winter melon for additional flavor.
  4. Steam the winter melon slices in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  5. Place the cod chunks on top of the winter melon and continue steaming for 8 more minutes.
  6. Drizzle with light low-salt soy sauce and sprinkle with minced green onion before serving.
  7. Enjoy the dish, which is both delicious and juicy.
