Steamed Winter Melon with Atlantic Cod
Ingredients:
- Norwegian Arctic Cod: 130g
- Winter Melon (peeled and seeded): 200g
- Light Soy Sauce with Low Salt: 10g
- Minced Green Onion: A small amount
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients: Thaw the skinless and boneless cod fillet; peel and seed the winter melon.
- Cut the cod into chunks, about 2 cm each.
- Slice the winter melon into thin slices, about 5 mm thick. Pour the juice from the thawed cod over the winter melon for additional flavor.
- Steam the winter melon slices in boiling water for 10 minutes.
- Place the cod chunks on top of the winter melon and continue steaming for 8 more minutes.
- Drizzle with light low-salt soy sauce and sprinkle with minced green onion before serving.
- Enjoy the dish, which is both delicious and juicy.
