Red-Braised Yellow Croaker (红烧小黄鱼)
Ingredients:
- 6 Yellow Croakers
- Ginger, Garlic, Sichuan Peppercorns - to taste
- 10g Peanut Oil
- 1 tbsp Tai Tai Le Ginger and Scallion Cooking Wine
- 1 tbsp Tai Tai Le Original Fresh Light Soy Sauce
- Sugar, White Pepper Powder - to taste
- A pinch of Tai Tai Le Chicken Essence
- Optional: Onion and Green Pepper
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients.
- Heat a pan and add a spoonful of peanut oil.
- When the oil is hot, add ginger, garlic, a few Sichuan peppercorns, and optionally, a bit of onion and green pepper.
- Gently add the yellow croakers and fry them slowly. As they are delicate, avoid stirring; rotate the pan instead.
- Add a suitable amount of Tai Tai Le Ginger and Scallion Cooking Wine.
- Add Tai Tai Le Original Fresh Light Soy Sauce.
- Add a bit of sugar and white pepper powder, then add enough water and bring to a boil over high heat.
- Cook for about 8 minutes, then season with a little Tai Tai Le Chicken Essence.
- Reduce the sauce and remove the pan from heat.
- Ready to serve – the fish should be tender and flavorful!
