Stir-Fried Squid Blossoms with Carrots and Onions
Ingredients:
- Squid Blossoms - 1 bag (frozen)
- Carrot - 1/2 piece
- Onion - 1
- Cooking Wine (such as Shaoxing) - as needed
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 2 grams
- Salt - 2 grams
Instructions:
- Thaw the frozen squid blossoms naturally.
- Slice half a carrot and one onion.
- Boil water and add the squid blossoms.
- Add cooking wine to the boiling water to remove any fishy smell, and blanch for 2 minutes.
- Remove the squid blossoms and immerse them in cold water.
- Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan, then stir-fry the squid blossoms briefly and set aside.
- Stir-fry the carrot slices in the same pan, noting that cooking carrots in oil enhances their nutritional value.
- Add the squid blossoms and onions back to the pan, stir-frying over high heat. Add soy sauce, sugar, and salt, then serve.
- Your dish is ready to be served!
