Cod and Tofu Soup

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Norwegian Arctic Cod: 200g
  • Tofu: 100g
  • Spring Onion and Ginger: To taste
  • White Pepper Powder: A pinch
  • Cooking Wine: 1 spoon
  • Coriander: 1 root
  • Chicken Essence: To taste
  • Sesame Oil: 1 teaspoon
  • Enough Hot Water
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the ingredients.
  2. Naturally thaw the cod and pat it dry. Cut into pieces, season with white pepper, salt, and cooking wine. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Cut the tofu into pieces the same size as the cod.
  4. Finely chop the spring onion, slice the ginger, and cut the coriander into small pieces. Set aside.
  5. In a pot, heat some oil over medium heat and fry the spring onion and ginger until fragrant.
  6. Add the marinated cod pieces and fry until slightly golden.
  7. Add enough hot water to the pot.
  8. Once the water boils, add the tofu, salt, and chicken essence for seasoning.
  9. Simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes. Before removing from heat, drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with chopped coriander.
  10. Enjoy your high-protein, low-fat Cod and Tofu Soup, perfect for winter nourishment!
