Sea Salt Caramel Scones
Ingredients:
- Butter: 50g
- Fine Sugar: 30g
- Sea Salt: 1g
- Low-Gluten Flour: 195g
- Baking Powder: 5g
- Egg: 1
- Milk: 50g
- Caramel Biscuit Crumbs: 45g
Instructions:
- Cut the butter into small pieces and place in a bowl.
- Add fine sugar and sea salt to the bowl.
- Add low-gluten flour and baking powder.
- Mix until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add the egg.
- Then pour in the milk.
- Continue mixing until it forms a dough.
- Add the caramel biscuit crumbs.
- Mix until evenly distributed.
- Divide the dough into 50g portions, roll into balls, and press in half a caramel biscuit on each.
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and bake for about 25 minutes.
