Sea Salt Caramel Scones

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Butter: 50g
  • Fine Sugar: 30g
  • Sea Salt: 1g
  • Low-Gluten Flour: 195g
  • Baking Powder: 5g
  • Egg: 1
  • Milk: 50g
  • Caramel Biscuit Crumbs: 45g
Instructions:
  1. Cut the butter into small pieces and place in a bowl.
  2. Add fine sugar and sea salt to the bowl.
  3. Add low-gluten flour and baking powder.
  4. Mix until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  5. Add the egg.
  6. Then pour in the milk.
  7. Continue mixing until it forms a dough.
  8. Add the caramel biscuit crumbs.
  9. Mix until evenly distributed.
  10. Divide the dough into 50g portions, roll into balls, and press in half a caramel biscuit on each.
  11. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and bake for about 25 minutes.
