Sesame Oreo Pillow Cake
Ingredients:
- Pure milk: 150ml
- Corn oil: 110g
- Low-gluten flour: 140g
- Cornstarch: 42g
- Eggs: 8
- Unsweetened black sesame powder: 70g
- Lime juice: as needed
- Granulated sugar: 65g
- Oreo cookie crumbs: as needed
Instructions:
- Mix corn oil with pure milk until emulsified.
- Sift in low-gluten flour and cornstarch, and mix until there are no dry ingredients.
- Add egg yolks and mix well.
- Stir in the sesame powder.
- Beat egg whites, previously frozen, with lime juice and sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg white mixture into the egg yolk mixture until well combined.
- Pour into a mold, sprinkle with Oreo crumbs, and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (302°F) for 40 minutes. Cover with a lid in the last 10 minutes and switch to a fan mode at 145°C (293°F) for 30 minutes.
- The combination of sesame and Oreo is surprisingly harmonious.
