Pork Rib Rice (排骨焖饭)

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Pork Ribs: 600g
  • Rice: 500g
  • Rock Sugar: 10 pieces
  • Fresh Ginger: 2 slices
  • Mixed Vegetables: As needed
  • Dark Soy Sauce: 1 tablespoon (approx. 5g)
  • Light Soy Sauce: 4 tablespoons (approx. 20g)
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon (approx. 2g)
  • Water: As needed
Instructions:
  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Place the ribs in cold water, add ginger slices, and bring to a boil.
  3. After blanching, remove the ribs and set aside.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and melt the rock sugar.
  5. Add the ribs and stir-fry until they change color.
  6. In an electric pressure cooker, add washed rice, ribs, mixed vegetables, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, and salt. Add water as you would normally for cooking rice.
  7. Cover and set to a low-pressure cooking mode until done.
  8. Once cooked, your delicious Pork Rib Rice is ready to be served!
