Cod Fish Congee: A Comforting and Nutritious Meal

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 200g Cod Fish
  • 100g Rice
  • 1 tbsp Chicken Sauce (e.g., Tai Tai Le Fresh Chicken Juice)
  • Appropriate amount of water
  • 1 Fried Dough Stick (Youtiao)
  • 20g Cooked Peanuts
  • 3g Salt
  • 1g Black Pepper
  • 2 sprigs Coriander (Cilantro)
Instructions:
  1. Thaw the cod fish.
  2. Cut the fish into small 1x1 cm pieces.
  3. Season the fish with salt and black pepper.
  4. Marinate the fish with chicken sauce for 10 minutes.
  5. Put rice in a pot, add an appropriate amount of water, and start the congee cooking mode. Cook for 50 minutes.
  6. Cut the fried dough stick into small pieces.
  7. Add the fried dough stick and cod fish to the congee and continue to simmer for 10 more minutes.
  8. Add peanuts and coriander before serving.
