Creamy Sesame Spicy Hot Pot Soup

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 1 box of cow's milk
  • Spicy hot pot base
  • Tonghao (crown daisy) or spinach
  • Various hot pot balls and sausages
  • Pork rolls
  • Coriander (optional)
  • Self-prepared sesame sauce
Instructions:
  1. Add cow's milk and break the hot pot base into a pot, adjust the quantity based on personal preference and the total amount of vegetables and meat to be cooked.
  2. Add water in equal proportion and boil over medium-high heat. Adjust the hot pot base as needed by observing the color and smelling the aroma.
  3. Add items that take longer to cook, such as hot pot sausages, tonghao stems, and fresh mushrooms.
  4. Once it boils again, reduce to medium-low heat and simmer until the sausages are partially cooked and the vegetables are tender.
  5. Gently stir and add the remaining tonghao leaves. Be careful of the heat.
  6. Adjust the heat as needed and add seasoning if necessary. Confirm everything is cooked, then add spinach, lettuce, or peas.
  7. Blanch the leafy vegetables until soft, then turn off the heat. Serve in a deep dish or soup bowl, top with sesame sauce and garnish with coriander.
  8. Enjoy your meal!
