Drunken Broth Scallops
Ingredients:
- Premium Drunken Broth Sauce: 100g
- Fresh Scallops: 1000g
- Ginger/Sake: As needed
- Celery: As needed
Instructions:
- Gather the main ingredients: choose one of the two types of Drunken Broth Sauce. Soak the fresh scallops in saltwater, rinse, and drain for later use.
- In a pot, add cold water, a little sake, and ginger. Bring to a boil, then add scallops. Cook until they open (about 2-3 minutes), skimming off any foam.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove the scallops and drain them in a bowl.
- Do not discard the broth in the pot. It will be used for the sauce.
- Select the Premium Drunken Broth Sauce. Add the sauce to the broth and bring to a boil. Then, sprinkle chopped celery, mix well, and turn off the heat. Pour the sauce over the scallops.
- The final dish should look like the one in the picture. It's an easy recipe, perfect for when you're feeling lazy but want something delicious.
- If you like it spicy, add chili peppers while cooking. For a lighter taste, you can skip adding salt. Serve hot for the best flavor.
