Homestyle Garlic Prawns

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 20 prawns
  • 5 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 6 Thai chilies, minced (optional for heat)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chicken bouillon powder, to taste
  • 200g olive oil
  • Green onion segments, to taste
Instructions:
  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Clean the prawns by removing the heads and veins, and make a slit along the back. In a cold skillet, heat the oil and stir-fry the prawns until they change color. Remove and set aside.
  3. In a separate pan, heat some oil and sauté the minced garlic and Thai chilies.
  4. Add the prawns back into the pan, along with soy sauce and oyster sauce, and stir well.
  5. Add salt and chicken bouillon powder, continue stir-frying.
  6. Toss in the green onion segments and stir-fry for a few more minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve.

  • Contains garlic, which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
  • Adjust the amount of salt and chicken bouillon to control sodium intake.
