Incredibly Delicious Mushroom Chicken Stew

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 1 whole chicken (about 1000g)
  • 700g assorted mushrooms
  • 1 large piece of ginger
  • Tai Tai Le cooking wine, to taste
  • Tai Tai Le chicken sauce, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 5g cooking oil
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the ingredients: Clean the chicken and mushrooms.
  2. Cut the chicken into large pieces and blanch in cold water with ginger to remove any gamey taste.
  3. Once the water boils, add Tai Tai Le cooking wine and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken, rinse with warm water, and drain.
  5. Heat oil in a pot, sauté ginger slices, then add the drained chicken.
  6. Stir-fry the chicken on high heat while adding a bit of Tai Tai Le cooking wine until it turns golden brown. Add about 2 liters of boiling water.
  7. Add the cleaned mushrooms, a little Tai Tai Le chicken sauce, and salt. Simmer on low heat for about 2 hours.
  8. Finish with crushed black pepper and serve. The addition of mushrooms and Tai Tai Le chicken sauce makes this chicken incredibly delicious.
