Kung Pao Norwegian Arctic Cod Rice Bowl

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Norwegian Arctic Cod: 2 pieces
  • Salt: a pinch
  • Cooked Rice: 1 bowl
  • Carrot: ½
  • Cucumber: ½
  • Soy Sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato Sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch: as needed
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the ingredients as shown.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, tomato sauce, a pinch of salt, and a little water. Set aside.
  3. Thaw the cod, pat dry, and cut into small pieces.
  4. Coat the cod pieces with cornstarch and pan-fry over low heat until lightly golden on both sides. Set aside.
  5. In another pan, sauté chopped green onions.
  6. Add diced carrots and stir-fry briefly.
  7. Add diced cucumber and continue to stir-fry until evenly cooked.
  8. Add the cod pieces and the prepared sauce.
  9. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
  10. Plate and serve with rice.
  11. Showcase the final dish.
