Norwegian Arctic Cod and Pea Soup
Ingredients:
- Norwegian Arctic Cod - 1 piece
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 10 grams, finely chopped
- Green Peas - 50 grams
- Water - 3 bowls
- Lemon Juice - a few drops
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper Powder - to taste
- Butter - 2 grams
Instructions:
- Rinse the cod and pat dry with kitchen paper.
- Prepare the green peas and finely chop the onion.
- Debone the cod, cut into slices, and sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Marinate the cod slices in a food processor with salt and pepper for 10 minutes.
- Process the cod until finely minced.
- Mix in the cornstarch until evenly distributed.
- Melt butter in a heated pan.
- Add green peas, onions, and water, cooking until the peas are soft.
- Blend the cooked peas and water in a food processor until smooth, removing any white foam.
- Pour the pea mixture back into the pan and simmer on low heat.
- Add small chunks of the cod into the soup and simmer for 4-5 minutes until the cod is cooked.
- Season with salt and turn off the heat.
- Serve the soup hot.
