Nourishing Red Date, Pumpkin, and Millet Porridge

Ingredients:
  • Millet: ½ bowl
  • Pumpkin: 1 piece
  • Red dates: 5 pieces
  • Goji berries: a handful
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the ingredients: red dates, goji berries, and pumpkin. Pumpkin can be diced or cut into chunks.
  2. Cut the pumpkin into larger pieces and boil for 5 minutes after the water boils.
  3. Clean the millet and add it to the pot. Remember to add enough water in one go when making porridge.
  4. Add red dates and goji berries, and simmer for about 15 minutes. Cook longer for a thicker consistency.
  5. Enjoy the porridge, which should be sticky and sweet, complemented by the soft and sweet pumpkin chunks.
  6. Serve with a cup of red date and ginger tea for added health benefits and to warm the stomach.
