Savory Sauce-Braised Cod Fish

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Cod Fish, 200g
  • Light Soy Sauce, 150g
  • Cooking Wine, 50g
  • Half an Onion
  • One Red Bell Pepper
  • Four Green Bell Peppers
  • Cornstarch, as needed
  • Camellia Oil, a generous amount
Instructions:
  1. Cut the cod fish into pieces.
  2. Clean and pat dry with kitchen paper.
  3. Coat the cod fish lightly with cornstarch.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cod fish pieces until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  5. Clean and chop the onion and bell peppers.
  6. In the same pan, sauté the onion and bell peppers briefly.
  7. Mix cooking wine and light soy sauce together.
  8. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan.
  9. Add the fried cod fish, onion, and bell peppers to the sauce.
  10. Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.
  11. Serve hot, with a crispy exterior and tender interior.
