Savory Toast Bread

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 500g bread flour
  • 300g water
  • 1 egg
  • 30g white sugar
  • 50g corn oil
  • 6g salt
  • 6g dry yeast
  • Pork floss, as needed
  • Salad dressing, as needed
  • Egg wash (for brushing the toast), as needed
  • 3 slices of cheese
Instructions:
  1. Knead the dough until it reaches the full expansion stage.
  2. Let the dough rest at 29°C for 1 hour.
  3. Divide the dough into 6 pieces, each weighing 157g.
  4. Roll out a piece of dough, flip it over and layer with cheese slices, pork floss, and salad dressing.
  5. Roll up the dough from the bottom, cut it in the middle without separating it completely.
  6. Place the rolled dough in a toast mold, spray with water, and let it rise at 35°C until it is 80% full.
  7. Brush the surface with egg wash.
  8. Preheat the oven with the upper heat at 160°C and lower heat at 200°C. Bake in a black toast mold for 31 minutes or a ripple toast mold for 37 minutes, covering with aluminum foil in the middle to prevent burning.
