Simple Clam Steamed Egg

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 1-2 Eggs
  • Approximately 9 Clams
  • Adequate amount of Chopped Green Onions
  • A bit of Premium Drunken Sauce
Instructions:
  1. Wash the clams and boil them in cold water until they open. Then, turn off the heat.
  2. Crack 1-2 eggs into a shallow dish and beat well.
  3. Pour the water used to boil the clams into the beaten eggs (stir with one hand while pouring with the other), skim off any foam, then steam over boiling water for about 10 minutes. The dish is ready when the egg custard does not wobble when lightly shaken. Sprinkle some chopped green onions and drizzle a bit of drunken sauce over the top.
  4. Once done, serve immediately. The tender egg, combined with the fresh taste of clams and the sweet premium drunken sauce, makes for a delightful dish.
