Stir-Fried Sausage and Peas
Ingredients:
- 4 sausages
- 400g peas
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 dried chili peppers
- Oil for cooking
- Oyster sauce (optional)
- Monosodium glutamate (MSG) (optional)
- 70ml water
Instructions:
- Thaw the sausages naturally and slice them thickly.
- Remove the strings from the peas and blanch them in boiling water with a few drops of oil.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the garlic slices until fragrant.
- Add the sausage slices and stir-fry until they start to curl.
- Add the peas and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, MSG (if using), and water in a bowl to create a sauce.
- Turn up the heat and stir-fry the mixture until the sauce thickens.
- Add the dried chili peppers and stir-fry for a few moments.
- Remove from heat and serve.
