Beef with Chinese Broccoli (Choy Sum)

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 200g Beef Tenderloin
  • 1 bunch Chinese Broccoli (Choy Sum)
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1-2 Small Chili Peppers
  • Soy Sauce
  • Baking Soda
  • Pepper Powder
  • Cornstarch
  • Cooking Oil
  • Sichuan Pepper Powder
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • White Sugar
  • Salt
Instructions:
  1. Slice the beef into strips and soak to remove blood. Marinate with soy sauce, baking soda, pepper powder, cornstarch, and a spoonful of oil to seal in moisture.
  2. Heat a wok with cool oil, stir-fry the beef and Sichuan pepper powder until the beef changes color, then remove from wok.
  3. Stir-fry minced garlic and small chili peppers until fragrant.
  4. Add Chinese broccoli and stir-fry until it's just cooked.
  5. Return the beef to the wok, add soy sauce, ground black pepper, white sugar, and salt.
  6. Stir-fry everything together until well mixed.
  7. Ready to serve and enjoy your meal!
