Bitternut Tofu - A Jiangxi Delicacy

Ingredients:
  • Bitternut Tofu, 1 block
  • Fresh Ginger, 1 piece
  • Garlic, 2 cloves
  • Chilies, 4
  • Garlic Leaves, 2 stalks
  • Salt, to taste
  • Tai Tai Le Fresh Chicken Sauce, to taste
Instructions:
  1. Finely chop the ginger, chilies, and garlic. Cut the garlic leaves separately.
  2. Cut the bitternut tofu into pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu for a while.
  4. Add ginger, chilies, and garlic to the pan and stir-fry evenly. If available, add some Jiangxi rice wine.
  5. Add seasonings: salt, soy sauce, and pour in hot water to cook for a while. Then squeeze in Tai Tai Le Fresh Chicken Sauce.
  6. Finally, add the fresh garlic leaves and stir-fry evenly.
  7. Note: Bitternut tofu is a special dish from Jiangxi, available only during certain times. It's refreshing and helps to cool down the body. Adding Tai Tai Le Fresh Chicken Sauce enhances the flavor with a chicken soup-like taste.
