Chicken Broth Pork Wontons

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Pork filling: 300g
  • White pepper powder: 2g
  • Oyster sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil: 1.5 tablespoons
  • Chicken broth seasoning (e.g., Tai Tai Le Fresh Chicken Juice): 2 tablespoons
  • Cilantro (coriander): 1 stalk
  • Nori (seaweed sheet): 1 sheet
  • Green onions (scallions): 5
  • Wonton wrappers: 500g
Instructions:
  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Mix the pork filling with ginger, chopped green onions.
  3. Add chicken broth seasoning, salt, and white pepper powder to the filling and mix well.
  4. Place a small amount of filling on each wonton wrapper.
  5. Moisten the edge of the wrapper, fold and seal to form the wonton.
  6. Continue until all wontons are wrapped.
  7. Bring a pot of water to boil, cook wontons until they float to the surface, then remove.
  8. In another pot, add water, nori, chicken broth seasoning, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook until fragrant and then turn off the heat.
  9. Sprinkle cilantro over the soup.
  10. Place wontons in a bowl.
  11. Pour the prepared broth over the wontons.
