Norwegian Arctic Cod and Vegetable Congee
Ingredients:
- Norwegian Arctic Cod: 1 piece
- Rice: 50g
- Lettuce: 2 leaves
- Carrot: 1 piece
- Water: 500ml
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients: Cod, rice, lettuce, and carrot.
- Clean the cod and pat dry, then pan-fry until slightly golden.
- Using the same oil, stir-fry the carrot julienne to release the beta-carotene.
- Add 500ml of water to the pan and then add the rinsed rice.
- Cook the rice until it becomes thick and creamy.
- Break the fried cod into small pieces and add to the congee.
- Add thinly sliced lettuce into the mix.
- Turn off the heat once the vegetables soften.
- Serve immediately, ideal for a nourishing meal.
