Norwegian Arctic Cod and Vegetable Congee

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Norwegian Arctic Cod: 1 piece
  • Rice: 50g
  • Lettuce: 2 leaves
  • Carrot: 1 piece
  • Water: 500ml
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the ingredients: Cod, rice, lettuce, and carrot.
  2. Clean the cod and pat dry, then pan-fry until slightly golden.
  3. Using the same oil, stir-fry the carrot julienne to release the beta-carotene.
  4. Add 500ml of water to the pan and then add the rinsed rice.
  5. Cook the rice until it becomes thick and creamy.
  6. Break the fried cod into small pieces and add to the congee.
  7. Add thinly sliced lettuce into the mix.
  8. Turn off the heat once the vegetables soften.
  9. Serve immediately, ideal for a nourishing meal.
