Pork Backbone and Lotus Root Soup
Ingredients:
- 1 Pork Backbone
- 1 Lotus Root
- Appropriate amount of Ginger
- Appropriate amount of Salt
- A bit of Cooking Wine
- Appropriate amount of Green Onions
- Appropriate amount of MSG
- 4 sprigs of Coriander
- Appropriate amount of Camellia Oil
Instructions:
- Clean the pork backbone.
- Drain the water thoroughly.
- Place the pork backbone in cold water and add cooking wine.
- Add ginger slices and coriander, then bring to a boil.
- Boil for 2 minutes.
- Transfer to a sink and wash under warm water.
- Drain the water again.
- Heat oil in a pot and add ginger slices.
- Fry until fragrant.
- Add the pork backbone and stir-fry evenly.
- Transfer to a high-pressure cooker, cover, and stew for 30 minutes.
- Peel and chop the lotus root.
- Add the lotus root to the pork backbone, season with salt, and stew for 5 more minutes.
- Add MSG and stir well.
- Finish by sprinkling with green onions before serving.
