Spicy Lemon and Passion Fruit Canadian Arctic Shrimp

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Canadian Arctic shrimp, raw - 250g
  • Lemons - 2
  • Passion fruit - 1
  • Thai bird chili - 50g
  • Green onions, ginger, garlic - 10g each
  • Light soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar - 15g
  • White pepper powder - 15g
  • Salt - 3g
  • Water - 200ml
Instructions:
  1. Thaw the Canadian Arctic shrimp if they are frozen. They can be cooked in various ways such as boiling, steaming, or grilling.
  2. Boil the shrimp with green onions and cooking wine until cooked.
  3. Once boiled, immediately place the shrimp in ice water to enhance their texture.
  4. Prepare the spicy lemon sauce: Mix onions, Thai bird chili, cilantro, passion fruit pulp, lemon slices, white sesame seeds, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, white pepper powder, salt, and water.
  5. Put the cooked shrimp in the sauce.
  6. Stir well to evenly coat the shrimp with the sauce, and serve.
