Steamed Yam and Pork Patties

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 200g Pork Mince
  • 150g Yam, finely chopped
  • 20g Green Onions, chopped
  • 2g White Pepper Powder
  • 4g Salt
  • 20g Light Soy Sauce
  • 30g Cool Water
  • 10g Finely Chopped Green Onions (for garnish)
  • 2g Dried Red Chili Flakes (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the pork mince.
  2. Mix salt, light soy sauce, white pepper powder, green onions, and a bit of cool water into the pork mince.
  3. Stir the mixture well.
  4. Peel the yam, slice, julienne, and then chop finely to create small granules.
  5. Add the yam granules to the pork mixture.
  6. Mix thoroughly.
  7. Place the yam and pork mixture in a steaming dish and smooth the surface.
  8. Steam in a pot of boiling water for about 25 minutes.
  9. After steaming, garnish with finely chopped green onions and, if desired, red chili flakes.
  10. Cut into pieces and serve while warm and tender.
