Steamed Yam and Pork Patties
Ingredients:
- 200g Pork Mince
- 150g Yam, finely chopped
- 20g Green Onions, chopped
- 2g White Pepper Powder
- 4g Salt
- 20g Light Soy Sauce
- 30g Cool Water
- 10g Finely Chopped Green Onions (for garnish)
- 2g Dried Red Chili Flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the pork mince.
- Mix salt, light soy sauce, white pepper powder, green onions, and a bit of cool water into the pork mince.
- Stir the mixture well.
- Peel the yam, slice, julienne, and then chop finely to create small granules.
- Add the yam granules to the pork mixture.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Place the yam and pork mixture in a steaming dish and smooth the surface.
- Steam in a pot of boiling water for about 25 minutes.
- After steaming, garnish with finely chopped green onions and, if desired, red chili flakes.
- Cut into pieces and serve while warm and tender.
