Taro Braised with Pumpkin

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Pumpkin, one piece
  • A pinch of white sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • Appropriate amount of water
  • Taro, as needed
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (added in the recipe steps but not in the ingredient list)
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the ingredients as shown.
  2. Cut the pumpkin into large chunks and prepare the taro chunks.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the pumpkin and taro into the pan and stir-fry evenly.
  5. Add a spoonful of oyster sauce for flavoring.
  6. Season with an appropriate amount of salt and sugar.
  7. Add an appropriate amount of water, cover, and simmer until the pumpkin and taro are cooked through.
  8. Serve the dish on a plate.
