Preheat oven to 180C/350F (160C fan). Grease and line the base of 2 x 20cm/8″ cake pans. Whisk together eggs, peanut butter, oil, honey and milk (little peanut butter lumps ok). Stir in carrots. Then add flour and baking soda, stir until just combined (over mixing = hard cake = sad birthday pooch).
Grease a 6 cup ring mold. Combine the egg, peanut butter, oil, vanilla, and honey, if desired, in a large bowl; blend well. Stir in the carrots and mix thoroughly. Sift together the flour and baking soda and fold into the carrot mixture.
In a bowl, I whisked together wheat flour, flour, unsalted/unsweetened peanut butter, freshly grated carrot, honey, egg, and oil. The batter was poured into an 8″ cake pan and was baked in a preheated oven at 180 0. I use the Pintola Natural Peanut butter for this recipe (not sponsored). Do not serve the entire cake to your doggo.
Many dog treats contain flour and that’s why they are treats and not proper food. Dogs may eat baked goods with flour in limited quantities though. This dog cake is packed with the goodness of peanut butter, honey, and carrots – all that your dog loves.
