Spread the cherry filling over the dough. Put the cherry crumble cake in the oven and bake for 40 minutes.

Dribble the cherry pie filling over the cake. Sprinkle the reserved crumb topping over the pie filling. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Start checking the cake at 35 minutes. Remove from oven, place on cooling rack. When cool, cut into squares and serve.
