Toss in 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Set aside. Mix brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon together in a bowl. Set aside.
Preparation In a medium-sized bowl, add the flour and salt. Add in cubed butter and break up into flour with a fork. Gradually add the ice water and continue to mix until the dough starts to come together. Work the dough together with your hands and turn out onto a surface. Peel the apples, then core and slice.
Cream butter, sugar and the egg. Mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, vanilla, apples, pecans, and raisins. Mix together well with the creamed mixture.
Spread apple pie filling over the batter. Pour the remainder of the batter on the top of the apples, covering completely. For the crumb topping, mix in butter with flour, cinnamon and brown sugar until crumbs form. Sprinkle crumbs over top of cake.
