Pumpkin and Jujube Steamed Buns

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Wheat Bran Flour: Approximately 500 grams
  • Pumpkin Puree: About 130 grams
  • Yeast Powder: 3 grams
  • Small Red Dates (Jujubes): 6 pieces
  • A pinch of Sugar
  • Eggs: 2
Instructions:
  1. Peel and steam the pumpkin until soft. Mash it into a puree and mix in the eggs and sugar.
  2. Add wheat bran flour and yeast to the mixture.
  3. Knead the mixture into a dough and let it ferment.
  4. Wait for the dough to ferment until it doubles in size and shows a honeycomb-like texture.
  5. Take out the dough, sprinkle it with chopped red dates, and knead it into a ball.
  6. Cut the dough into your desired shapes.
  7. Steam the buns over cold water for 15 minutes.
