Small Flower-Shaped Steamed Buns

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 400g Flour
  • 4g Yeast
  • 40g Sugar
  • 240g Milk
  • Oil (for brushing)
  • Kitchen machine (for kneading)
  • Electric steamer
Instructions:
  1. Pour all ingredients into the mixing bowl of the kitchen machine.
  2. Install the mixing bowl and dough hook onto the kitchen machine.
  3. Mix the dough on medium speed until smooth.
  4. Roll out the dough thinly and brush a layer of oil over it.
  5. Fold the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Cut the dough into thin strips.
  7. Stretch the strips and roll them on your thumb to form a flower shape, sealing the ends.
  8. Let the formed buns rest in the steamer for 20 minutes.
  9. Steam the buns for 18 minutes.
