Scallion-Flavored Soda Biscuits

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Low-gluten flour: 150g
  • Yeast powder: 2g
  • Baking powder: 2g
  • Corn oil: 30ml
  • Milk: 70g
  • Salt: 1g
  • Chopped scallions (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Combine all ingredients except low-gluten flour.
  2. Add chopped scallions to the mixture. (This step is optional.)
  3. Sift the low-gluten flour and add it to the mixed liquid. Gently fold.
  4. Knead into a dough. No need to let it rise.
  5. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3-5mm.
  6. Cut into small pieces and prick holes in them using a fork or toothpick.
  7. Place on a baking tray, ensuring some space between each piece. Bake at 160°C (320°F) for 20 minutes.
  8. The biscuits should emit a fragrant aroma when done.
