This Slimming World banana bread is moist, delicious and (trust me) smells amazing! Being at home seems to have turned us into a nation of bread makers and cake bakers, so we made it our mission to bring you the recipe that’s at the top of the ‘let’s bake’ list. Meet the Slimming World banana bread! Is it bread? Is it cake?
My Nan-Nan makes the best banana bread and I was missing it. In fact, she makes the best cakes and I was missing cakes so I went searching for a recipe to help with my cravings! This Slimming World recipe works out at about 2 syns per slice when cut into 10 slices. To be honest, it is hard to stick at one slice, though!
Preheat your oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/gas 6 and line a small loaf tin with non-stick baking paper. 2. Put the bananas in a mixing bowl and mash with a fork. Add the All-Bran, sweetener and apple juice and stir well. Sift in the flour. Add the vanilla essence, baking powder and allspice, followed by the eggs and a pinch of salt.
Top each with the slice of banana and sprinkle on the top with sukrin gold. Allow to cool for 10 mins in the tray and then carefully remove using a silicone spatula. This recipe is gluten free, vegetarian, Slimming World and Weight Watchers friendly
