Gluten-Free Cake pops are a super fun way to enjoy cake. They are basically little individual balls of cake mixed with frosting, dipped in delicious, rich chocolate. You can serve them on a stick like I did here, or you can leave the sticks out.
I also include a dairy-free cake pop option so everyone can enjoy this recipe! You can use any flavor of cake to make chocolate cake pops, vanilla cake pops, or even churro cake pops! This homemade cake pops recipe can be enjoyed all year long!
Instructions Add cake to a bowl and use your hands to smoosh it up. Add frosting and mix with your hands until it forms a ball Break off small bits of cake pop dough and roll into balls. Place on wax paper. Melt chocolate. Dip a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate, then stick into each cake pop. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
You have the option at this point to either put them on cake pop sticks, or leave them as is. After rolling into balls, put the baking sheet (with the gluten free cake pops on them) in the freezer for 30 minutes. Step 4: Melt the chocolate and dip the cake pops in them.
