Our story begins in 1975 with a simple family recipe for the ultimate moist and delicious carrot cake. Ne-Mo’s Bakery founder, Ed Smith, first baked up a batch of our now famous Ne-Mo’s Carrot Cake and began selling it to local restaurants and delis.
That’s because the perfect carrot cake has to be warmly spiced, moist, and tender. It needs enough carrots to give it a subtle earthy flavor, but not enough to make it taste vegetal. The cream cheese frosting has to be tangy enough to balance out the sweetness, but not sour.
“Love the Carrot and Banana Cakes! Can’t pass them by without buying a few (or more!). They are great!”
From our famous Carrot Cake squares, to our delicious cake breads and slices, bite after delicious bite, you will recognize the quality and care baked into each mouthwatering treat. “Try the Carrot Cake with cream cheese icing, the Red Velvet, the Chocolate and Banana. They are all good!”
