Sugar Cookie for Giant Cookie Pans Recipe. Spray giant cookie pan with vegetable pan spray. Cream butter and sugar, add egg and mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Dip hands into flour and pat dough into prepared pan. Prick dough with a fork. Bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Place on cooling rack for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time mixing well after each. Combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda; stir into the sugar mixture alternately with the milk. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
These *don’t* have that distinctive sugar cookie flavor but they’re still a good cookie. I made half and got 17 cookies using a 1 1/2″ cookie scoop (#50)/1 T. Baked cookies spread out nicely and looked just like the photo. I baked them for 10 minutes at 350. They were crunchy on the outside and very chewy on the inside.
Don’t rush to the store to buy it though, you may leave it out. This giant sugar cookie cake is the perfect recipe when you’re looking for something a little different from birthday cake and more special than a batch of sugar cookies.
