Drunken Broth Scallops

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Premium Drunken Broth Sauce: 100g
  • Fresh Scallops: 1000g
  • Ginger/Sake: As needed
  • Celery: As needed
Instructions:
  1. Gather the main ingredients: choose one of the two types of Drunken Broth Sauce. Soak the fresh scallops in saltwater, rinse, and drain for later use.
  2. In a pot, add cold water, a little sake, and ginger. Bring to a boil, then add scallops. Cook until they open (about 2-3 minutes), skimming off any foam.
  3. Use a slotted spoon to remove the scallops and drain them in a bowl.
  4. Do not discard the broth in the pot. It will be used for the sauce.
  5. Select the Premium Drunken Broth Sauce. Add the sauce to the broth and bring to a boil. Then, sprinkle chopped celery, mix well, and turn off the heat. Pour the sauce over the scallops.
  6. The final dish should look like the one in the picture. It's an easy recipe, perfect for when you're feeling lazy but want something delicious.
  7. If you like it spicy, add chili peppers while cooking. For a lighter taste, you can skip adding salt. Serve hot for the best flavor.
