Soybean Braised Pork Trotters

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Pork Trotters, 1 piece
  • Rock Sugar, 20g
  • Ginger, 2 pieces
  • Bay Leaves, 2
  • Star Anise, 2
  • Cinnamon, 1 piece
  • Yellow Soybeans, 100g
  • Pork Belly, 200g
  • Dark Soy Sauce, ½ tablespoon
  • Light Soy Sauce, 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster Sauce, 2 tablespoons
  • Salt, 1.5g
  • Shiitake Mushrooms, 5
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the ingredients, soak the soybeans in water and wash the spices.
  2. Clean the pork trotters, cut the pork belly into pieces, and blanch them with water and ginger.
  3. Remove the pork trotters and belly after blanching.
  4. Soak the yellow soybeans and shiitake mushrooms in water until soft.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, fry the ginger until fragrant, then add the pork trotters, pork belly, and spices, frying until they turn slightly golden.
  6. Add boiling water and cook on medium-high heat.
  7. Add the seasoning sauces.
  8. Finally, add the soaked soybeans and mushrooms, bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for one and a half hours. Adjust salt to taste.
  9. Your delicious braised pork trotters are ready to serve.
