Fried Radish Veggie Balls

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 1 Radish
  • 2 sprigs Cilantro
  • 1 tsp Five-spice powder
  • 3 stalks Green onion
  • A pinch of Minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 Bread (used as breadcrumbs)
  • 2 handfuls Bread crumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Pepper powder
  • Fresh chicken juice (as needed; optional, can be replaced with vegetable broth or soy sauce for vegetarians)
Instructions:
  1. Julienne the radish, blanch for one minute, squeeze out the water and chop finely.
  2. Mix the radish with bread crumbs, breadcrumbs from the bread, eggs, chopped green onions, salt, minced ginger, pepper powder, five-spice powder, and cilantro.
  3. Add fresh chicken juice (or its vegetarian substitute) to the mixture.
  4. Form the mixture into balls.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Remove from heat and serve.
