Taro and Potato Stewed Pork Ribs

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 2 potatoes
  • 400g pork spare ribs
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine
  • Appropriate amount of green onions and ginger
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • Taro, as needed
Instructions:
  1. Prepare ingredients as shown. Clean the ribs and remove any blood.
  2. Blanch the ribs in cold water with green onions, ginger, and cooking wine to remove any gamey taste.
  3. Place ribs in a pressure cooker, add green onions, ginger, star anise, cinnamon, and other spices for aroma.
  4. Add two tablespoons of soy sauce for seasoning.
  5. Add one tablespoon of oyster sauce for flavor.
  6. Add one tablespoon of dark soy sauce for color.
  7. Add a tablespoon of sugar to enhance the flavor, then add enough water and stew in the pressure cooker for 10 minutes.
  8. Switch to a wok, remove the spices, add potatoes and taro, and stew until all ingredients are cooked through.
  9. Season with an appropriate amount of salt, then serve.
  10. Display the finished dish.
  11. Enjoy the nutritious and delicious meal!
